Servomex Group Ltd, the global gas analysis instrumentation company, announces the appointment of Chris Cottrell to the role of Managing Director as of the 9th of July 2007. Servomex is a member of Spectris plc, the specialist instrumentation and electronic controls group.
Chris joins Servomex from the Honeywell Group, where he served most recently as Vice President of the Gas Detection Division. Previously he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Zellweger Analytics, based in Switzerland and also Managing Director of the Water Division of Zellweger Analytics, based in Paris. Before rejoining Zellweger, Chris was General Manager of ABB Process Analytical Division - EMEA, which followed on from his initial career in the Analytical Spectroscopy Division of Philips.

Chris will be based in Servomex's UK head office in Crowborough, East Sussex.
