Select Fabricators, Inc. has an ISO Class 5 certified environment supported by an ISO Class 7 clean room. This facility provides strict particulate control vital to the production of medical devices and portable EMI shielding. The Fed. Std. 209 Class 100 (ISO Class 5) certified environment manufactures and assembles flexible packaging for medical components without detrimental bioburden effects. Select Fabricator's (SFi) new low particulate clean room environment has produced large poly bags, an emergancy medical product, and EMI shielded tents for its customers. A clean room's function is to filter out all particles and control both tempertature and humidity. A Class 100 clean room means that the room may contain a maximum of 100 particles per cubic foot of air. To keep that in perspective, according to experts who measure particlulates, there can up up to one million particles in a cubic foot of space in the typical office building.
