Schneider Electric North American Operating Division Announces Kristin Johnson-Holz as New Vice President of Marketing


PALATINE, Ill. - October 31, 2007 - The Schneider Electric North American Operating Division today announced that Kristin Johnson-Holz has joined the management team as vice president of marketing. In her role, Johnson-Holz will report to Chris Curtis, president of Schneider Electric USA, and is responsible for leading and coordinating the U.S. marketing offering and overseeing marketing performance management throughout the United States.

"Kristin will add great value to the Schneider Electric team," said Curtis. "She brings years of experience in marketing and sales to her new position, and will work closely with each of our business units to drive continuous improvement through effective marketing strategies."

Johnson-Holz has more than 11 years of executive experience in marketing and sales. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, she held several management positions at Grainger, Inc., including senior director of marketing and advertising for Grainger Industrial Supply and marketing manager of national accounts and government. Johnson-Holz also spent 12 years in progressive leadership roles with Baxter International, Inc. While at Baxter International, her responsibilities included managing global marketing, strategic planning and business development, and financial and business analysis.

Johnson-Holz earned a master's degree in marketing, finance and international business from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Rochester in New York.
