San Francisco International Airport Contracts for PASSUR Field Condition Reporting and Tarmac Delay Management Solutions

STAMFORD, Conn. - PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. (OTC: PSSR.PK), a business intelligence software and solutions company, today announced that San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has contracted for PASSUR OPSnet Field Condition Report (FCR) and Tarmac Delay Monitor. These solutions improve the completeness, timeliness, and dissemination of airport field condition information, as well as help monitor aircraft that are on the field for extended periods of time, so that operational efficiency, safety, cost effectiveness, and passenger care are enhanced for all airport users.

SFO is one of 18 airports directly reporting their field conditions via PASSUR OPSnet, which consolidates airport conditions including NOTAMS and critical non-NOTAM information onto a single screen. The timely dissemination of field conditions is particularly critical for an airport like SFO, which is served by dozens of domestic and international airlines and is geographically situated in an area with a number of microclimates and thus rapidly changing weather conditions.

SFO's field conditions will also be accessible through Airport Information Network (AIN), which provides new levels of automation to all participating airports and is available to airline system operation centers in the U.S. and internationally. Almost all of the major North American airlines, and more than 90 airports, are participants in AIN.

"PASSUR has served San Francisco International Airport, and its customers, for many years we're pleased we can address their additional requirements for accurate and timely reporting of field conditions to improve the airport's overall performance," said Jim Barry, President and CEO of PASSUR Aerospace.

The PASSUR Airport Operations Program

Airports are being asked to provide more cost-effective, efficient, and safe airfield operations for carriers, to help them achieve greater throughput, quicker turns, and fewer ground delays critical elements of airline profitability in today's challenging environment. Airports also want to consolidate airfield management functions onto a single platform to minimize staff requirements. The PASSUR Airport Operations Program provides airport ramp tower, operations, and communications centers with the alerts, decision support, planning, and analysis tools they need to run a more efficient and safe operation, and the web platform for cost-effective communication, coordination, and collaboration with all the airport's key constituencies. It includes modules for field condition reporting/eNOTAM/Digital NOTAM integration, live dashboards of key operations metrics, flight and airspace visualization, and "long onboard" ground delay management (Tarmac Delay Monitor).

Airport Information Network (AIN) and PASSUR OPSnet FCR

AIN creates a single, centralized, and standardized resource to manage information sharing during normal activities, as well as during severe disruptions in the NAS. It addresses the industry's need for a collaborative platform where all stakeholders airports, airlines, corporate aviation, ATC, ground handlers, and other support services are united on a common operating platform and share the same timely and accurate information. PASSUR FCR is an add-on module to AIN, accessed from the same page, providing deeper, more detailed field condition information, including NOTAM and non-NOTAM updates and remote alerts for critical changes.
