Press release date: April 10, 2006

15-year industry veteran appointed to lead the company's process initiative

MILWAUKEE, April 10, 2006 - As part of an ongoing expansion of its capabilities and service offerings in the process industry, Rockwell Automation has announced Kevin Zaba as the newly appointed marketing director of its process business. The appointment supports the company's goal to help users unify information from disparate manufacturing processes, including discrete, batch, process and motion applications. Leveraging the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture, this plant-wide architecture approach improves productivity, quality and time to market while reducing total cost of ownership and providing a competitive edge.

"Rockwell Automation has a steadfast commitment to the process industry. This newly created position aligns with our anticipated growth in the process markets," said Steve Eisenbrown, senior vice president, Rockwell Automation. "This is an exciting expansion for that business."

Zaba, a 15-year marketing veteran of Rockwell Automation, was most recently the manager of process market development. In this role, he strengthened strategic associations and partnerships with industry and global leaders such as Endress+Hauser, Fieldbus Foundation, HART and ISA to help ensure that process control solutions from Rockwell Automation are fully capable and compliant with global standards. The partnership with Endress+Hauser has also resulted in a complete range of pre-integrated, pretested measurement, automation and information solutions.

As marketing director, Zaba will be responsible for worldwide planning and marketing for all Rockwell Automation process solutions. He will leverage the vast experience of Rockwell Automation and its existing market share to offer unique process and batch control and information solutions that reduce engineering time, improve asset management, enhance production scheduling and improve the availability of actionable information.
