Press release date: June 22, 2010

Excitement continues to build for AutomateSM - the new name for the International Robots, Vision & Motion Control Show. The show will be collocated with ProMat® 2011, the leading show for the material handling industry and logistics industry.

Solutions will be a major focus in order to show attendees how automation technologies can help them become stronger global competitors. More non-automotive attendees will be targeted than ever before as it's clear that robots, vision, and motion are gaining traction in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, consumer goods, and related sectors. And, the conference will be filled with more practical knowledge than ever before.

What does all of this mean for exhibitors?

Likely double the audience on the show floor (ProMat reports that some 40% of their attendees are interested in the products on our floor and most will be likely to crossover to our show).

A more diverse buying audience than ever before, especially from non-automotive markets (ProMat attendees fit well with our new focus on food, consumer goods and other non-automotive industries).

An exciting event in a beautiful setting, in the heart of a vibrant city (domestic and international visitors alike will appreciate the move to McCormick Place in downtown Chicago). Plus, exhibitors will enjoy positive, more exhibitor-friendly changes that were recently made at McCormick Place.
