Rino Pulls the Plug

A range of plugs have been introduced by precision engineered component's specialist, Rino Industries Ltd of Chesterfield.

The range encompasses several different types from hexagon socket flange head screw plugs with or without O-rings (in steel or stainless steel) or with oil seals, hexagon socket head parallel screw plugs in either standard, perforated, shouldered or short versions to socket head cap screw plugs in steel or stainless with or without pre-coat seals.

The hexagon socket flange head screw plugs are particularly useful in high pressure hydraulic systems capable of impact pressure up to 49MPa. They are therefore most appropriate for high pressurised hydraulic machines, compacted and safety enhanced applications. The O ring version is attached and due to the screw's parallel threads, there are no instances of distortion in the thread system. As a result, they are most useful in hydraulic and pneumatic machinery and equipment.

Metric fine thread to both 120ºC (sizes M10 to M33) and 200ºC (sizes M42 & M48 only) are available as standard in the hexagon socket flange head screw plugs and all are suitable for high pressure hydraulic uses.

Hexagon socket head parallel screw plugs of various types are useful in holding down compression springs and to adjust spring load, the company states. There are short, standard, perforated and shouldered types in S45C black ferrosoferric oxide coating. Sizes range from M6x1 up to M45x1.5 depending on which type is chosen.

Socket head cap screw plugs in both steel and stainless are available with both standard and pre-coat seal options. The pre-coat seal version does not need sealing tape or sealing agents and is highly resistant against oil, gasoline, water and heat. This element reduces work time. These parts are most useful with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
