Westwood, NJ - Ringfeder Corporation, widely recognized as a top-quality supplier of power transmission components in North and South America, has recently achieved ISO 9001:2000 recertification. They were originally certified in 2005.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001:2000 is a set of worldwide quality assurance system standards developed for the purpose of facilitating international trade. The standards address key areas of corporate governance that help focus corporate resources on improving customer service and product reliability through measurable adherence to established quality procedures and practices.
According to Carl Fenstermacher, President of Ringfeder Corporation, "Many of our customers and prospective customers demand ISO certification as part of their purchasing process. Our company will maintain our certification to fully demonstrate our commitment to a process of continued improvement and high quality our customers have come to expect from us."
The recertification process included many steps on the way to the final recertification including auditing each department. Ringfeder has implemented an annual recertification which will take place in October 2007.
