RPT Appoints New Welding Account Manager, Continues Commitment to Welding Customers


AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 31, 2006 - Robotic Production Technology President Kevin McManus announced today the appointment of Tom Washburn to the position of Robotic Welding Automation Account Manager. In his expanded role, Washburn will oversee all welding accounts and ensure that RPT is well-positioned to support all of its welding customers.

Before coming to RPT, Washburn served as a welding engineer at a hard tool welding company for seven years and as welding tooling designer and department supervisor at a stamping company for four years.

"RPT has been providing both standard and engineered-to-order welding systems and weld tooling to customers for more than 20 years," said RPT President Kevin McManus.
