Peter Crosa to deliver keynote address
Rockville, MD - The Restoration Industry Association (RIA), has developed a new 400-level learning experience focused specifically on contents restoration for individuals who manage a business focusing on this specialty, have a division that handles contents restoration, or are looking to expand into this area. Strictly Contents is a two-day, interactive event that will be held on September 15-16 at J.C. Restoration, Inc. (DKI) in Rolling Meadows, IL (just outside of Chicago).
Well-known author and speaker Peter Crosa, creator of "Soft Selling Hardened Claims Adjusters" books and workshops, will deliver the keynote presentation entitled: Understanding the Mind of the Adjuster: Contents Restoration & the Insurance Claims Industry. Crosa has extensive experience as a licensed independent adjuster and private investigator and has handled large, complex losses for more than 35 years throughout the U.S. and Latin America.
"As restoration companies expand their services, contents restoration is changing the landscape for the insurance claims industry," explains Crosa. "Restoration professionals need to understand how to educate and work effectively with insurance adjusters, recognize impediments to the relationship, and focus on providing the services that adjusters and their clients need."
The event includes specialized tracks for owners and managers, lectures from some of the top contents specialists in the industry, a tour of a contents restoration facility, exhibitors specializing in state-of-the art technology and a behind-the-scenes tour of The Conservation Center.
Early-bird registration price for RIA members is $495 for the first attendee and $295 for the second person from the same company before August 29. Non-member prices are $795 for the first attendee and $595 for the second person.
