COVINGTON, Ky. (June 2006) R.A. Jones & Co. Inc., an IWKA company, is pleased to introduce the new Legend® Series L200HL Hand Load Cartoner, the second of Jones's innovative Legend series of standard products. The Legend® is a continuous motion, 4 chain carton transport machine, with the carton transport, carton feed and flap closing driven by one variable speed motor.
Pre-engineered configurations of these machines mean minimal customization that result in shorter lead times and lower cost solutions. This cartoner will have a manual loading area large enough for two operators. Speeds of up to 80 cartons per minute allow for a wide range of product applications.
The Legend® Series L200HL offers optimal flexibility with both right and left hand configurations. The frame system is a welded stainless steel tubular hygienic design and will allow debris to fall through to the floor. The machine frame length is 16' 9". With a smooth and efficient rotary carton feed, simple hydraulic height adjustment and a 4 ft.
powered magazine with controlled back pressure, the Legend provides highly reliable carton feeding at speeds up to 80 cartons per minute. Standard features include Allen Bradley Controls and Nordson gluing system with 2 guns or tuck closing.
