Quick-Ship Program for Parker P5L Guided Cylinders Reduces Lead Times


ATLANTA, OCT. 31, 2006 - Today's compressed design cycles often make quick delivery of such critical components as actuators a must. With Parker Hannifin's new Quick-Ship Program, customers can order specific, stocked P5L guided cylinders one day and receive the order the next, depending on their location.

The new P5L Quick-Ship Program allows users to electronically order by complete part numbers, eliminating the need to configure. The part number then will automatically ship the same day, if the order is placed by NOON, EST.

The program meets a variety of demanding requirements including bore sizes of 25, 32, 50, and 63 mm and stroke lengths of 100, 200, and 300 mm.

The basic option set consists of:

·Thrust version.
·Composite bushing.
·Cushions.
·Bumpers with adjustable stop collars.
·Nitrile seals.
·NPTF ports.

In order to receive next-day delivery, customers need to note "Quick-Ship‿ on their order, whether they order electronically or manually. Sensors are not included as a standard item. Limit sensors and switches must be ordered separately. Maximum order quantity is five pieces.
