T&D RTR-500 series Wireless Data Logger Base Station/Repeater

CHESTERLAND OH - Businesses relying on trucking shipments to distribute their product can significantly benefit from a cost-effective way to monitor their cargoes en route to customers, but traditional LAN networks are often unavailable on the road. Now CAS DataLoggers together with quality manufacturer T&D have the solution with the new RTR-500 Series Wireless Data Logging Systems. Now with the RTR-500GSM Data Collector, users can easily setup remote or in-vehicle data collection to automatically send data and alarms via cellular phone networks. This built-in wireless communication technology allows users to process and manage their critical data anytime from anywhere, offering unmatched convenience to workers in transportation and warehousing, food processing and storage, agriculture, and many other industries.

T&D's RTR-500 Series data loggers are low-cost monitoring solutions with models for temperature, humidity, voltage, current and event counting. These wireless loggers share recordings with a variety of data collectors including handheld, USB, Ethernet and cellular versions so personnel can quickly and accurately check and protect cargo on the road. These remote units measure and record data by registering to the base stations which wirelessly collect their current readings during set intervals and monitor for user-set alarm warnings. These data loggers record temperature in ranges as broad as -199°C to 1700°C (-326°F to 3092°F, RTR-505TC model) and connect with many different thermocouple and RTD sensor types. Full downloads of captured readings take just about 2 minutes. 500 series data loggers send their data up to 500 ft. away from a base station when unobstructed indoors, easily extending this range by registering a base station as a Repeater to relay communication between a remote unit and base unit. These data loggers are available in 9 different models to suit customers' specific measurement items/ranges, and also offer an array of optional sensors for even more functionality.

Additionally, these rugged, compact, weatherproof data loggers have been designed for extended operation in harsh environments and feature alarming capability and email, FTP and web interfaces to view and save current readings and recorded data. Readings are presented in graph display or exported to other programs. FREE user-friendly software is included with 500 series base units for quick setup and configuration en route to markets and receivers.

The versatile 500 series offers users even more specialized data collectors including the RTR-500GSM Mobile Base Station with built-in GSM Modem, equipped with GSM cellular phone network capabilities to periodically and automatically download the data from its remote units. The RTR-500GSM uses SMS messaging to send warning report mails so users are always notified of potentially disastrous changes in their cargo, giving personnel the time to respond and potentially save entire shipments. The RTR-500DC Handheld Data Collector travels along with its owner in a truck cabin to instantly collect and check data from wireless remote units, displaying reading graphs on its backlit built-in display so drivers can read data even at night. The handy operation dial makes it simple to use the logger onsite; moving the dial up and down displays menu selections which can be easily chosen just by pressing in on the dial.
