ADDISON, IL, -- Designed for use in window frame assembly, Pres-On PL4400 rubber glazing tape exhibits ultimate adhesion properties and extreme holding power by permanently bonding with wood, aluminum, stainless steel and PVC frames. It creates a tight seal between an insulated glass panel and window sash to prevent air and water leakage, resulting in a superior window frame.
PL4400 is double-sided with a high-tack rubber adhesive that provides greater initial grab for the installer. An improved polyethylene release liner allows for faster, easier application when assembling frames.
Blocking out water, light, dust and all forms of moisture is what PL4400 does best, due to its flexible, soft foam. The cross-linked, closed cell polyethylene foam meets demanding AAMA certification for performance, assuring manufacturers of a high quality end-product that withstands aging and extreme environments.
PL4400 can be ordered in roll widths ranging from 1/8-inch to 54-inches, thicknesses of 1/32, 11/16 or 1/8-inch and lengths of 54, 108 or 216 feet. Longer lengths are available in both pancake rolls and spools. The tape comes in either black or white.
