PowerLab Control Technologies, a Han-Tek Company Achieves ISO9001:2008 Certification

VICTOR, N.Y., August 12, 2011 - Han-Tek, Inc., a solutions provider of advanced automation technology has added it's newly acquired division, PowerLab Control Technologies to its ISO9001:2008 registration. Located in Welcome, N.C., PowerLab was acquired by Han-Tek, Inc. in late 2010. The addition of the PowerLab location to the ISO certification is significant to the organization as it ensures the entire company is operating under the same quality system.

"Earning ISO registration demonstrates our commitment to world-class quality in our design, fabrication, installation and support of our engineering solutions," said Jon Tobin, Han-Tek President. "This certification provides independent evidence of our dedication to excellence in providing our customers with quality product and service solutions."

The PowerLab division pursued an aggressive ISO registration schedule, completing implementation in 6 months. "This is quite an accomplishment," said Bobby Cole, Controls Division Manager of PowerLab. "It is a tribute to the teamwork, enthusiasm and hard work of everyone at PowerLab and an affirmation of our dedication to providing quality products and services."

ISO9001:2008 certification is an internationally recognized approach to the implementation of a Quality Management System. Obtaining certification requires an independent third party assessment and on-going audits ensure continued compliance to the stringent requirements.
