Pierre F. Pinard, Quality Assurance Manager for Blasch Precision Ceramics, Inc. has completed the requirements to for ASQ-Certification as Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. Pinard has reached a significant level of professional recognition, indicating a proficiency in and a comprehension of quality management principles and practices.
"ASQ provides certification as a way to provide formal recognition to professionals who have demonstrated an understanding of, and a commitment to, quality techniques and practices in their job and career," explains E. David Spong, ASQ president. "This is a great accomplishment and, although not a formal registration or licensure, it represents a high level of peer recognition."
In his role Pinard will continue to manage the Blasch Precision Ceramics objective quality assurance system supporting achievement of customer requirements as well as corporate tactical and strategic quality goals and objectives. The role of the QA department remains cornerstone to maintaining the pace of continuous improvement and overall technology and business growth at Blasch.
