People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, has named Mark D. Zielke interim chief executive officer of the society, an international educational and scientific organization dedicated to the advancement of engineering in biological, agricultural, and food systems.
In this multifaceted role, Mr. Zielke will have oversight of all operations at the society's international headquarters, in St. Joseph, Michigan. He will also act as secretary for both ASABE and the ASABE Foundation, as well as continuing his most recent duties as the society's comptroller and director of human resources. Mr. Zielke has been with ASABE since 1985.
