People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
BICSI, an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, recently appointed Jeff Silveira as its new director of standards. With more than eleven years of experience in the field, Mr. Sliveira will promote BICSI's goal to develop valuable standards for the information transport system (ITS) industry; he will also contribute to advance the knowledge and expertise of BICSI's membership, their customers, and the ITS industry through global standards and best practices.
Formerly with Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), Mr. Silveira holds a BS degree from Santa Clara University.
