People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
CSA America (CSA), a member and accredited standards developer of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), has recently named Richard Papa vice president of standards.
In this role, he will support CSA's standards and service activities on gas appliances and alternative energy products. Mr. Papa joined CSA from Associated Materials, Inc., where he had served as product manager for vinyl and metal products. Prior to that, he was manager of operations at GE Reuter-Stokes Inc.
Mr. Papa earned a BS in manufacturing engineering technology at Kent State University, OH.
