Parkinson Technologies Experiencing Record Growth; Numerous Personnel Added To Company

Woonsocket, RI, Parkinson Technologies has recently added new employees, made management promotions, and changed the company's operations structure as a part of a strategic plan that is driving record growth.

"We've secured excellent personnel additions for our organization while also promoting top performing individuals to higher level positions. This adds skills and capabilities that continue to position us for success in the future."
Changes to the company's Operations organization have been made to improve processes and to continue to focus on productivity improvements. Purchasing, Manufacturing, Assembly and the newly created position of Process Improvement were all part of the recent Operations changes.

Company Management Changes and Promotions, New Hires

Recent management changes and promotions, and new hires at Parkinson include:
Greg Silva, Vice President, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer: a six-year employee at Parkinson, Greg was promoted from his previous position as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all financial, administrative, information technology and employee-related areas at the company.

Edward DiLorenzo, Manufacturing Supervisor: Ed has worked at Parkinson since 2005, when he joined the company as a Machine Assembler. He was named Assembly Supervisor one year later. In his new position as Manufacturing Supervisor, he is responsible for maintaining parts flow to assembly and ensuring all work centers are processing correctly.

Mark Vannoy, Purchasing Manager: Mark was hired as a Buyer in March 2008, was quickly promoted to Acting Purchasing Manager, and has now been promoted to Purchasing Manager.
Joe Connelly, Product Manager: Joe moves to the newly created role of Product Manager. Reporting to Steve Montalto, Director of Sales & Marketing, Joe will inerface closely with sales and engineering to lead the overall effort of defining product and performance requirements for target markets.

Greg Curry, Sales Engineering Manager: Greg is promoted to Sales Engineering Manager, reporting to Steve Montalto. Greg has demonstrated excellent commercial and technical skills across a broad range of projects, products and customers and is well versed to assume this leadership role. His group has grown through the addition of 2 new sales engineers.

David Dziadzio, Mechanical Engineering Manager: Reporting to Ken Cavanagh, Vice President of Engineering, Dave joined Parkinson from Magnat Fairview where he managed the overall engineering effort. He has an excellent track record as a machine designer and technical manager and has deep experience in working closely with manufacturing and customers.

In addition to the above, numerous machinists and assemblers have been hired to meet the manufacturing demands brought on by increased order activity.
