SYRACUSE, N.Y. (April 21, 2006) - Pass & Seymour/Legrand (P&S), a leading manufacturer of electrical wiring devices and home systems, recently developed a new, highly exclusive series of marketing kits, designed for distributors participating in P&S's Cornerstone promotions. These "Xtreme Marketing Kits" will provide Cornerstone distributors with essential, easy to implement promotional materials to maximize sales and move products out the door.

Distributors committed to carrying P&S Residential, Commercial, Industrial or GFCI devices can be considered for Cornerstone and all of its benefits. The Xtreme Marketing Kits are part of P&S's new Growth Product Focus initiative, designed to drive sales of products with the highest growth potentials.

P&S has identified 22 such products and is developing an Xtreme Marketing Kit for each one. The first two Marketing Kits became available in February, and P&S will continue to introduce two new Kits per month for the rest of the year. Each month one Marketing Kit will provide promotional tools for a Commercial/Industrial product, and the
other for a Residential product.

Participants in Growth Product Focus must be Cornerstone distributors and must commit to promoting at least three of the 22 products targeted for the Kits - one every four months.

"We learned that supplying a 'how-to-promote package' could help our distributors to build product awareness, encourage trials and increase sales, and it would give them

Each Kit requires a minimum stocking order and includes the following:

o Product samples with reference cards - highlighting the product's best features. Perfect for an outside sales team to use with customers.
o Posters - to increase product visibility in high-traffic areas like entrances, counters, bulletin boards and coffee stations.
o Pocket cards - full of all the necessary product information, but small enough to fit in a toolbox. Great for counters and jobsite visits too.
o Promo CD: with product literature, a message-on-hold script, logos and product art for distributors to use in their own newsletters, fax blasts and mailings.
o Free premiums - to support P&S sales.
