One of the World's Most Successful Shredder Manufacturers Adds Key Personnel

CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO, July 20, 2009 // - Shred-Tech, the respected leader in information destruction and recycling systems, announced the recent appointment of three exceptional sales professionals in their Mobile Destruction Systems division. The addition of Charlie DeBlasio, Chet Hinton and David Simmons to Shred-Tech's lineup helps ensure the company is well-positioned to significantly boost sales and reach its goals, one of which is to be within two hours of 90 percent of their U.S. based customers.

On-site document destruction services are surfacing worldwide in response to an increased demand for the immediate, secure disposal of confidential and sensitive materials. With fierce competition and increased litigation in the U.S. and around the world, many companies are developing strict record management practices.

"Hand-picked for their wisdom, experience and passion for the industry, these individuals will contribute greatly to our competitive arsenal. Our lineup is now more solid than ever. We continue to thrive through innovation - in technology, strategies and business models. Charlie, Chet and David are joining Shred-Tech at, what we believe, is an incredibly exciting time for our company and for the clients we're proud to serve," points out Shred-Tech's VP of Sales and Marketing, Joe Roberto. "Our 'who's who' client roster speaks directly to the creative and cost effective way we go about solving some of the world's most complex scrap reduction and recycling problems."

Charlie DeBlasio will be based in Long Island, New York. "I'm looking forward to working with entrepreneurs interested in the shredding business. All across North America there are amazing people who love the business and who are keen to learn about the contributions we can help them make. The Shred-Tech team is a winning team and the only one I'd work for," declares DeBlasio. "Yes, I'm passionate about doing all I can to help our clients protect their clients, who will in turn protect their clients. When my clients are successful, I'm successful."

In his new role, Chet Hinton will be working from the Apex, North Carolina Service Centre. "I enjoy the freshness of this industry. I had my own shredding business ten years ago and I grew it to be one of the largest independent shredding companies in the country. This is the kind of experience I bring to others looking to get started in the shredding business. Having been in their shoes, knowing about the ups and downs of running this type of business positions me well to help others be successful," shares Hinton.

David Simmons will be working from the Service Centre in Ontario, California. "My focus is selling Shred-Tech Mobile Shredding Trucks and introducing our industry to those who might be looking to diversify their current business operations," shares Simmons. "Helping my clients grow their business with our gold standard products is rewarding. I take a genuine interest in their wants and needs and am there to help them along the way. Seeing to it that my clients are successful is important to me. I'm proud to represent a company that is a leader in the shredding industry. Ours is a company that is constantly working to improve the product line and our processes and never one to ever rest on our laurels."
