Norplex-Micarta Appoints New Product Development Engineer
POSTVILLE, IA - Norplex-Micarta, the leading manufacturer of high performance thermoset composites, has announced Daniel Krammen as a new product development engineer at the company's corporate headquarters in Postville, Iowa. Mr. Krammen will be responsible for the design and development of new Norplex-Micarta sheet, tubing, rod, and molded shape products. Mr. Krammen's appointment reflects Norplex-Micarta's commitment to continuous development of new products to respond to the industry's changing applications and material requirements.
Mr. Krammen has had more than 25 years of engineering experience in a wide range of industries, including automotive, marine, and electrical. Most recently, Mr. Krammen was a senior manufacturing and quality assurance engineer at Rockwell Automation, where he oversaw product development, manufacturing, quality, and materials. Mr. Krammen studied engineering at Illinois State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology.
