The second generation of Donaldson's innovative PowerCore filtration technology is now available in Australia for engine intake systems on 4WDs, trucks, work vehicles and agricultural equipment.
Donaldson has improved the performance of its PowerCore filtration technology by increasing the dirt holding capacity and further reducing the size. This allows for greater geometric flexibility in overcoming tight space constraints.
PowerCore G2 uses Donaldson's patented UltraWeb nanofiber filter technology. UltraWeb is engineered to perform in extreme temperature and humidity conditions, unlike ordinary nanofibers.
These unique and advanced nanofibers collect contaminants on the media surface resulting in high efficiency and longer filter life. UltraWeb also has the ability to hold more contaminants than standard nanofibers.
The PowerCore G2 filtration technology can require only half the space of traditional air filters, yet it is able to deliver an increased dust and soot holding capacity because of the unique fluted design of its filter media. These flutes are layered to give tight, rugged structure to the filter.
The PowerCore G2 air cleaners are 60% smaller than traditional air cleaners and 30% smaller than previous PowerCore designs. With millions of PowerCore units installed around the world, this is a proven technology continuing to deliver more benefits in a smaller package.
