A new vacuum furnace is available from Lake City Heat Treating Corp., bringing the company’s vacuum heat treating line to six vacuum furnace models. This new furnace features the capabilities to achieve vacuums of 10^-6 torr and process temperatures up to 2,400° F with a work load size up to 24” x 24” x 36”. These capacities allow Lake City Heat Treating to process customer work-piece requirements to exact specifications. Turnaround time for most jobs is one to two days.
