New Short-Run Metalforming Seminar to Address Changing Needs of Metalforming Industry



CLEVELAND, OH- August 8, 2008-The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) is offering a new Short-Run Metalforming Seminar to be held on October 1, 2008, in Cleveland, OH.

Developed by PMA's Technical Seminar Committee, the program will help attendees learn how to offer customers the best possible stamping and/or fabricating solution. The seminar is designed for product designers, process engineers, estimators, purchasing personnel, plant managers, presidents and other upper-level management.

Five dynamic speakers will present on topics including planning and understanding costs, turret-press and press-brake technology, spinning/hydroforming, low-cost tooling materials, reduction in setup time and more. To wrap up the seminar, attendees will discuss a case study of Interlake Stamping followed by a tour of its Willoughby, OH, facility. The plant features a modern pressroom, production machining, and complete toolroom and inspection facilities.
