Individual Catalogues for; AC:DC Solutions; DC:DC Converters. Medically Approved. March 2006 - Powerstax plc, the Farnborough UK based manufacturer of application rich power supplies and converters announces the publication of three new catalogues. Each covers a specific market segment providing a convenient, easy-to-use overview of their comprehensive range of AC-DC and DC-DC products, medical and custom power solutions. In a unique and attractive 8 page foldout format, each catalogue is colour coded for ease of use.
The BLUE catalogue provides outline information on the broad range of high efficiency DC-DC converters available from Powerstax. Products are available from 0.25watt miniature Point-of-Load (POL) converters through to full 19" rack mounted systems of up to 6,000 watts including N+1 redundant operation. The catalogue illustrates Powerstax high reliability, increased flexibility and enhanced performance modules that give designers versatile, cost effective and rapid solutions to DC-DC power requirements.
Listed in the GREEN catalogue are AC-DC and Modular power solutions that demonstrate Powerstax engineering expertise and capability to build complete energy systems using standard, tailored or bespoke solutions. The catalogue includes the compact, high power density 19" rack mount 1U AC-DC product range (rectifiers), intelligent controllers and power distribution panels with battery support. Also listed are the new MS1U series of 1U high, 1200W versatile configurable modular SMPS. A range of Linear power supplies, including RoHS compliant models, and special high power units are also available from the catalogue and examples of the wide variety of added value, special and custom design solutions already provided by Powerstax are shown.
The third, mauve, catalogue is a dedicated to products approved for Medical applications. It details a comprehensive range of standard power supplies of various topologies for medical use from less than 1W up to 1200 Watts. The short-form catalogue also features a wide range of medically approved Switched, Linear and high efficiency Desk Top power supplies from the well-known USA manufacturer, Condor. This catalogue also details the ultra low profile 1U high modular, configurable multi output power supplies that are pre-approved for medical applications. DC-DC converters suitable for medical equipment are also included together with information on Powerstax ability to manufacture custom products designed and built to customer's specifications.
