Skelleftea, 18 Oct, 2007 - We are pleased to announce that Mr.Rolf J Persson has taken the position as our new Managing Director from the 15th of October 2007. Rolf is replacing Mr. Nils-Erik Häggström, who from now, will be working as Group Business Area Manager, Industrial. "I am honoured of been given the confidence and task to lead the largest entity and organisation within the Alimak Hek group. Alimak is a well-managed and healthy company, as you all know. The management team and all employees have done a great job over many consecutive years. Still, we need to become even more professional, even excellent, in the future to ensure and protect our market position of being the recognized leaders in many of the industrial sectors we are active in, Rolf says"
The last five years Rolf has been Managing Director of the company Franke Futurum and before that, production manager during four years in the same company. Franke Futurum is well-known and leading manufacturer of cooker hoods in Scandinavia with a production of about 1000 units per day. Rolf also has more then 9 years experience as manager in the Volvo Truck Corporation in areas such as: production, production engineering, product development and quality.
With this background and experience, in combination with his Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Rolf will contribute to mission of Alimak Hek's continued result improvement plans and growth strategy.
Rolf is 42 years old, married, has 2 children and lives in Pitea a town in the north of Sweden, about 80 km north from the Alimak facility in Skelleftea.
