Ideal for EtO Sterilization and Hostile Environment Applications

CHESTERLAND OH — CAS DataLoggers in partnership with MadgeTech is pleased to announce the release of the latest in data logging safety—the RHTemp1000IS Intrinsically Safe Humidity and Temperature Data Logger. This low-cost device is certified for use in hazardous environments, ideal for EtO sterilization and many other hostile environment applications. The combo logger can be started and stopped directly from a computer making data retrieval quick and easy, while its small, sleek size allows it to fit almost anywhere. No more removal of end-caps to download your data--simply insert the device into the USB docking station (sold separately) and our user-friendly software does the rest! The new Intrinsically Safe humidity and temperature logger is a rugged, battery powered, stand-alone device which automatically records both humidity and temperature. The logger’s internal semiconductor measures temperature from a -20C to +80C (-4F to +176F) range, while its capacitive digital humidity sensor records from 0 to 100%RH (non-condensing). This portable device has been designed with a stainless steel enclosure engraved with device information and serial number. The compact size of the new lightweight design allows for easy placement in remote or hard to reach locations to capture readings.

The new data logger is FM approved as Intrinsically Safe for hazardous environments. This certification makes the device well suited for EtO Sterilization, environmental studies, and numerous other hostile environment applications. Its real time clock ensures that all the data is time and date stamped. With the added battery life indicator available in the software, users can now easily identify low voltage and only change batteries when needed. This feature maximizes battery life and is a cost-saving efficiency. Additionally, each of these dataloggers can measure and store up to 16,350 time- and date-stamped humidity and temperature measurements with user-set sample rates anywhere from every second to once a day. This new temperature and humidity logger interfaces with the IFC400 docking station and can be placed directly into the station for full communications. The new data logger is now available with an extended warranty.

The data logger is supported with FREE software giving users a powerful analytic tool to view data and statistics in a variety of formats for further analysis. Users can simply download the software for free from the manufacturer’s website.

CAS DataLoggers provides dependable, low-cost data logging solutions for use in just about any conceivable application including environmental monitoring, industrial chemicals, life sciences, and many more.
