On August 28, NTSB Chairman Deborah A.P. Hersman will deliver keynote address at International Society of Air Safety Investigators' 2012 Annual Seminar. Hersman will discuss importance of enhancing already strong relationships NTSB has with its international counterparts. In addition to keynote, NTSB Board Members will lead panel discussions on topics such as accident investigation; challenges associated with parallel investigations; and developing and fostering safety awareness.

WASHINGTON - National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Deborah A. P. Hersman will deliver the keynote address at the International Society of Air Safety Investigators' (ISASI) 2012 Annual Seminar in Baltimore, MD on August 28. In her remarks, Hersman will discuss the importance of enhancing the already strong relationships the NTSB has with its international counterparts.
The ISASI Seminar brings together hundreds of aviation safety advocates from around the world to discuss the latest innovative trends and practices in accident investigation and prevention. The seminar provides an opportunity for aviation experts to network with other safety professionals from all walks of the international aviation community.
In addition to Chairman Hersman's keynote address, NTSB Board Members will lead various panel discussions on topics including: accident investigation - challenges and opportunities; challenges associated with parallel investigations; covering the gap from the on-scene phase to the final report; and developing and fostering safety awareness.
The ISASI Seminar will be held August 27th - August 30th in Baltimore, MD.
