NEMA Reaffirms ANSI/NEMA WD 6-2002 Wiring Devices-Dimensional Specifications



(Rosslyn, Va.) September 18, 2008-The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has reaffirmed and published ANSI/NEMA WD 6-2002 Wiring Devices-Dimensional Specifications.

This standard presents the dimensional requirements of wiring devices in order to assist users in selecting and obtaining the proper product for a particular need and to minimize the possibility of unsafe interchangeability between configurations. WD 6-2002 (R2008) revises and supersedes WD 6-1997.
