Motorola is a major sponsor of the 3G World Congress & Exhibition 2005, an industry event now in its 10th year that brings together industry leaders to discuss the latest 3G strategies and new technologies. Motorola's demonstrations this year also highlight a range of applications and content solutions that are creating new revenue opportunities for operators.

The application is aimed at helping operators stimulate growth in messaging services by leveraging traditional voice and SMS.

Concurrently, Motorola unveiled its prototype CDMA 1xEV-DO Rev. A solution that enables advanced multimedia wireless broadband services on the CDMA platform. It allows operators to offer enhanced services such as simultaneous video, voice and data applications whilst leveraging their existing investment as they migrate to this new technology.
