Power Drive Components, Inc.
40 Newtown Plaza
Plainview, NY, 11803
USA

Press release date: August 10, 2008

Power Drive Components, Inc. capabilities include a wide variety of couplings - both standard and flexible - power and timing chains, sprockets, helical gears, and both internal and external spur gears. One of its most successful new products is the Bello line of flexible neoprene couplings, and another is the company's selection of belts and chains for power-drive applications. Power Drive introduces Mini Chains, Sprockets & Belts available in Polyurthane, Nylon or Steel.

Our mini-belt is a gear drive belt with a circular pitch of 0.0982 and a length of 1200. Belt widths and thickness range is 13/64. Operating load up to 12 lbs. with a speed at 376/min. Temperatures from +1800F to -150F. Our new nylon power mini chain can outperform any other product on the market today. Metric, chain and roller chain sprockets, miniature and shaft pulleys and linear drive belting and belts are part of our product's styles. Our manufacturing is engineered with over 40 years experience and belt and sprockets products are economical in their design and dynamic in their application approach to service many industrial needs for machinery, power transmission, medical and aerospace.

Power Drive's manufacturing activities are conducted in two locations in New York, with molding and gear cutting handled at its Plainview site-which also houses headquarters-and a CNC turning and milling facility in West Babylon. The company currently employee about a dozen people and utilizes more than 8,000 square feet of manufacturing space between the two buildings. "I basically have two main goals," Bello says. "I want to keep adding to our product line, exploring new markets and cultivating relationships with new customers, but I also want to bring more manufacturing jobs to New York as our company expands. Too much of it is going to overseas these days, and I want to bring that work back to the States."
