MetalForming Magazine to Hold Conference on the Latest Developments in Die Design and Simulation Software



CLEVELAND, OH—MetalForming magazine, the flagship publication of the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), announces The Die Design and Simulation Software Experience, a conference that will provide information on the industry’s leading die-design and simulation software systems for die-design and metalforming companies.  The event is scheduled for May 28-29, 2014, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.



The program for this 1.5-day event features:

- Software demonstrations from leading suppliers

- Case-study presentations describing successful software-implementation projects

- Keynote presentations covering “The Automotive Vendor Tooling Industry—Opportunities Abound, Regardless of Capacity Constraints” by Laurie Harbour, Harbour Results, Inc.; “Parametric vs. Direct Modeling,” by Paul Hamilton, PTC Inc.; and “Die Engineering’s Role in Addressing the Skilled Labor Shortage” by David Darling, US Forming Technologies LLC

- Social events to network with software experts and other conference participants
