Metal Fabrication Company Noble Industries, Inc. Adds to Laser Cutting Capacity with New Mazak FMS

NOBLESVILLE, Ind.– Noble Industries, a leading Indianapolis metal fabrication company, has purchased a new Mazak Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS), adding two more lasers to its already strong lineup of metal fabricators.

According to the Modern Machinery Company, "the Mazak laser Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) is world-renowned for helping fabricators achieve competitiveness." The two-laser FMS system with new modular automation automatically transports, positions and cuts materials, then stacks the finished product. It can run un-attended, going from one nest to another without new setups. Once the raw materials are loaded into the Mazak FMS' tower, the complete operation requires no labor.

"We foresee that our new Mazak FMS lasers will help increase productivity at Noble Industries significantly," said Brenda Snyder, Vice President of Sales for Noble Industries. "Its high capacity and modular automation allows for unattended production over complete shifts, offering reduced labor costs, increased laser processing time, and giving our company the opportunity to stay atop the competition."

Noble Industries consistently keeps their industry knowledge and manufacturing equipment up-to-date so their customers always receive the highest-quality tube and sheet metal products. Noble Industries creates products which are delivered to a diverse selection of industries, including consumers, light vehicle, heavy vehicle, industrial power, telecommunications, electrical controls, lighting, aerospace, medical and dental equipment, military, agriculture, construction and more.

"Noble Industries has the best laser cutting capabilities in the Midwest," said Ms. Snyder. "In addition to our new Mazak FMS lasers we have 4 Mazak 4000 watt laser cutting machines and 1 Mazak 2500 Watt laser and 1 Mazak 1000 laser. We also have the ability to do 3D cutting which can be used for countersinking holes or cutting tube."
