MicroE Systems' new Mercury II 5000 is a miniature, high-resolution optical encoder that gives motion system designers' superior performance, accuracy, versatility, ease of use and low cost of ownership compared to other encoders in its class.
Mercury II is the latest innovation from MicroE Systems. It is the next generation of high-performance miniature encoders and it outperforms every encoder in its class. Importantly, it is also the easiest encoder to use. The sensor works with our PurePrecision(TM) laser tape metal scales, as well as glass linear and glass rotary scales. Mercury II also offers stick-on index and limit markers, robustness against contamination and EMI/RFI interference.
