McAfee's World-class Security Research Division Delivers Bimonthly Podcasts With Expert Commentary Surrounding Security Issues, Drivers and Trends
SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 1 -- McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) today launched the official podcast show of McAfee® Avert® Labs titled, "AudioParasitics." AudioParasitics will be available bimonthly and is co-hosted by David Marcus, security research and communications manager, and Jim Walter, field research engineer, for McAfee Avert Labs. Each episode will feature McAfee's opinionated co-hosts and a variety of the security industry's finest minds to help dissect the issues, drivers and trends in security.
The first episode of AudioParasitics is now available at http://podcasts.mcafee.com/audioparasitics/. On today's show, listeners can hear Marcus and Walter discuss the recent Nordea Bank phishing incident. Also included is part one of a two-part discussion on information disclosure, including the differences between malware and vulnerability disclosure within the industry. McAfee guests for this segment include Joe Telafici, vice president of operations, and Kevin Beets, research scientist, McAfee Avert Labs.
