Material Handling Equipment Distributors Earn Awards

The MHEDA Journal recognizes top-performing forklift, rack and battery distributors.

Dewitt, NY - The Third Quarter 2010 issue of The MHEDA Journal (http://www.themhedajournal.org), the leading online magazine for the forklift, storage and handling, and general material handling equipment industries, was mailed to subscribers on July 15 and is now accessible online at www.TheMhedaJournal.org.

One of the features in this issue is a listing of more than 100 MHEDA Members who have been honored by one of their primary suppliers as top performers. Seventeen vendors, including nine manufacturers of industrial trucks, seven suppliers of storage & handling and engineered systems products and one maker of industrial batteries, present their lists of top-performing distributors. These companies are chosen based on various criteria, including sales figures, market share, customer service and more.

All of the distributor and manufacturer companies are members of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA). MHEDA dealers are routinely among the best in the material handling industry. The affinity programs, education, networking opportunities, publications and other offerings that MHEDA sponsors are invaluable resources for material handling distributors. With MHEDA's resources at their disposal, these already great distributors have become even better.

The honored distributors represent 35 states and two countries. Read the complete list here. The Third Quarter issue is the first to be showcased on a newly launched, redesigned website at www.TheMhedaJournal.org. The new look allows for more frequent updates and better reader interaction. The MHEDA Journal is published quarterly, in January, April, July and October. For more information, contact Chris Powers, editor of The MHEDA Journal, (315) 445-2347, e-mail: chris@datakey.org.
