DELTA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA - Mark Maleta has joined LMI Technologies, Inc. (LMI) as Worldwide Manager of Business Development for the Wood Division.

In his new position, Mr. Maleta will be responsible for managing sales and support initiatives for LMI's Wood Division including their existing customer base of in-house engineering teams, original equipment manufacturers and system integrators.

Part of his responsibilities will also include identifying new opportunities in LMI's custom sensor solutions to the worldwide wood manufacturing business, including the identification of new applications, product solutions and building new partnerships.

Before joining LMI, Mr. Maleta worked for USNR, one of the leading worldwide suppliers to manufacturers and end users in the industry. He brings to LMI over 25 years of management and wood processing experience including expertise gained from management roles in sales, operations, product development, and new business development.
