CANTON, OH -- December 1, 2006- The M.K. Morse Company, a leading manufacturer of professional quality saw blades, has named Peter Heenan as Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Heenan is charged with continuing the growth of Morse market share and positioning the Morse brand as a market leader in the cutting tool marketplace.
Mr. Heenan has been with M. K. Morse since February 2003. He brings a wealth of industry experience to Morse having previously worked in the cutting tool industry as both a Product Manager and Manager of Marketing of an Industrial Saw Blade Division. As Director of Marketing at M. K. Morse, his performance and initiative in both domestic and international marketing have consistently developed brand exposure, product awareness and growth in all channels served with M. K. Morse saw blades. Mr. Heenan has been responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies for branding, pricing and sales channel expansion.
In his new position Mr. Heenan will report directly to M. K. Morse President Jim Batchelder. According to Mr. Batchelder, "Peter's knowledge of the cutting tool marketplace and his results in expanding the recognition of the Morse brand worldwide have strongly assisted us in building our market share in the saw blade industry."
