WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Longs Drug Stores Corporation (NYSE:LDG) today announced that additional online photo features are now available through a new relationship with Snapfish by HP. Longs Drugs has expanded its online photo service, available at longs.com, to include a broad range of free photo editing tools and software that allows customers to share, store and create a variety of high-quality photo products in a simple and affordable way.

The new service conveniently allows online customers to share and store photos from their homes. In addition, customers have the opportunity to create unique items from more than 90 distinctive photo products, including mugs, MemoryBooks, calendars and t-shirts.

Longs Drugs has been at the forefront in bringing new photo products and services to customers. In 2003 Longs invested in digital photo technology, making it the first drug store with full-service digital photo labs in 370 stores. Longs launched the private brand single-use digital camera in November 2004 followed in 2005 with the introduction of one-hour digital processing via the Internet. In the summer of 2006, Longs Drugs was the first drug store retailer to add HP Photosmart Studios in 100 of its stores. The HP Photosmart Studio was the first in-store solution allowing customers a fun, easy and affordable way to design creative products using 200+ images in less than an hour.
