Press release date: July 3, 2008

Mountain View California - Loadstar Sensors, Inc. was selected as "most likely to succeed company" in the Semiconductor/Industrial section at the SVASE Launch: Silicon Valley 2008 event. "We're happy to receive recognition from the audience here at Launch: Silicon Valley," stated Div Harish, Co-Founder & CEO of Loadstar Sensors.

Loadstar was selected to present from among 266 applicants competing for only 30 demo slots spread across six categories. The "most likely to succeed company" in each category was selected by the audience which was made up of Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists, Service Providers and Entrepreneurs.

Loadstar Sensors announced their intelligent vendor managed inventory solution, called iVMIa at the Launch. iVMI will automate the process of bin inventory replenishments at remote customer sites and can save an average-sized part supplier 50%-70% over current visible inventory management techniques.

Many parts suppliers, whether they are vendors, distributors or manufacturers, are tasked with the problem of maintaining adequate inventory at their customer's point-of-use sites. "If a customer runs out of inventory, it could shut down the customer's entire production line. Before iVMI, most parts suppliers have had to hire people to visit remote customer sites and do inventory counts and orders manually. Now with iVMI, Loadstar's digital load cells will constantly measure inventory levels at the customer site, provide unprecedented visibility into inventory levels & rates of consumption and allow automated orders of parts as required," said Harish.
