Annual listing recognizes the leaders in information-technology innovation

CHICAGO, September 23, 2009 - Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ:LFUS) today announced the company has been ranked #81 on the 2009 InformationWeek 500 annual listing, which recognizes the nation's 500 most innovative users of business and information technology. Littelfuse jumped to the 81st position from its 2008 ranking of #156, surpassing some of the largest and most well-known U.S. companies.

Littelfuse's information technology team was recognized for its noteworthy support of the organization's lean initiatives, as well as its efforts to reduce complexity, while simultaneously improving capabilities and remaining cost neutral.

Selection for the InformationWeek 500 is a rigorous process that includes quantitative and qualitative assessments of business technology innovation. Companies must have revenues of $250 million or more and must complete a rigorous application on their technology strategies.
