Wausau, Wis. -- Linetec hired Joe Ramuta as its regional sales manager serving Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. Drawing from 19 years experience in the window industry, Ramuta will counsel customers on architectural and commercial finishing choices.
Ramuta joins Linetec from its sibling company, Wausau Window and Wall Systems. Most recently, he served as a design engineer managing projects from inception through installation. His previous responsibilities included product management, research and development; sales and marketing assistance; pre-bid engineering; and technical services.
During his nearly two decades with Wausau, Ramuta contributed to such notable buildings as Ohio's historic Cleveland Terminal Tower renovation, Michigan's Beaumont Hospital addition, Indiana's University of Notre Dame window replacement, and Wisconsin's "green" designed Dane County Justice Center.
A graduate of Northcentral Technical College, Ramuta earned a degree in mechanical design. He also has pursued additional coursework through University of Wisconsin's Executive Education School of Business.
