SUMMERVILLE, SC -- Mitch Milovich, president of Linde Lift Truck Corporation since 1991, recently announced that Brian Butler joined the South Carolina-based lift truck manufacturer on July 1st and will succeed him as president on August 1st. Mr. Milovich will be retiring from the Company and will be returning to Lift Atlanta, Inc., the familyowned Linde dealership he established in 1975.
Formerly president and CEO of Clark Material Handling Company in Lexington, KY, Brian has more than 20 years of experience in the material-handling industry. Before assuming the role of president and CEO at Linde, he held the positions of president and COO as well as vice president of sales and marketing at Clark. Prior to that he spent the majority of his career at the dealership level, most recently as vice president of sales and marketing of Material Handling Services in the Chicago market.
"Obviously," he said, "both my family and I are excited about joining Linde. I want to build on the success Linde has developed over the past few years, build on our product offering, and support our dealers and customers with world-class service and support."
In announcing the appointment, Mr. Milovich stated: "I fully endorse Brian as my successor, and I will work with him to provide a smooth transition and to familiarize him with the Linde Group and its products. I am confident that he will move the company along to the next level and continue to build on the success we have already established in North America."
