WINDSOR, Connecticut (January 22, 2009) - Kaman Industrial Technologies today announced the promotion of Ron Hittel to the position of District Manager, Great Lakes District and Sam Cooper to District Manager, Ohio Valley District, both reporting to Michael Kelly, Vice President & Regional Manager for Kaman's Central Region.

Hittel has been an employee of Kaman Industrial Technologies for 34 years, working in a variety of branch, district and regional positions. Most recently, he served as a Strategic Accounts Manager for the Central and Southeast Regions, providing support in critical markets.

In his new role as District Manager for the recently created "Great Lakes" district, Hittel will oversee sales and operations for Kaman's Fort Wayne, Muncie, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Lombard, Rockford and Danville branches. Hittel will be based in Kaman's Central Region headquarters in Indianapolis, IN.

Cooper was hired in 2006 as Branch Manager for Kaman Industrial Technologies' Columbus, OH branch. Prior to Kaman, he worked as a Sales Engineer and Product Manager for Air Power of Ohio. Most recently, he opened and managed Kaman's new Chillicothe branch in addition to his responsibilities for Columbus. Cooper holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Cincinnati.

In his role as District Manager for Kaman's Ohio Valley District, Cooper will be responsible for Kaman's Columbus, Lima, Dayton, Massillon, Cincinnati and Chillicothe branches. He will be establishing his district office in Columbus, OH.

"Ron Hittel's years of experience, wealth of product knowledge and valuable industry contacts make him uniquely qualified for this position. Sam Cooper's education and engineering experience will help ensure success in his new position as well."
