Dallas, USA (October, 2008) - tna, a leading supplier of turn-key, integrated packaging and processing solutions for food production companies worldwide, proudly announces the appointment of Juan Manuel Montero as the Sales Manager for Mexico and Central American region effective immediately.
Juan is responsible for overseeing sales in Mexico and Central America for tna's ever expanding product range. The biggest market impact are expected from tna's new 528äst multihead scale, the new tna robag® 3 (VFFS high speed - block bottom bagger) integrated with "kanga jaw" technology, and the new roflo 3® distribution with "switcheroo" and "erector" system technology (multi-speed, multi-directional, minimal parts).
Upon joining tna, Juan immediately oversaw one of tna's first powdered milk projects, partnering with a leading Central American dairy product company to complete tna product installations in Central America. "Juan's skill and expertise is a great fit with tna," says Michael Green, Americas vice president, tna.
With over ten yeas of sales experience in Mexico and Latin America's food packaging industry, Juan brings a wealth of knowledge in various fields including, specialty packaging films and equipment used in the in snack, food, and beverage industries. Before joining tna, Juan served as the leader executive for the commercial accounts of Sealed Air Mexico, Cryovac. In this position Juan helped manage the company's main accounts, focusing on new market developments for converted films and machinery for fresh and processed meat, dairy, ready meals, fresh produce, and seafood.
Juan has received degrees in Chemical Engineering and Quality and Statists from Universidad La Salle and a Strategic Sales Management degree from ITESM.
