Innovative leader to support mission of highlighting medical device manufacturing in CT
Joining Technologies, Inc., an innovator in industrial laser applications, announces that founder and CEO Michael Francoeur was recently elected to the board of directors of the Biomedical Engineering Alliance and Consortium (BEACON), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development and commercialization of medical technology.
In announcing the appointment, BEACON founder and president Joseph D. Bronzino PhD, PE, said, "Michael Francoeur is a well-known innovator who has been instrumental in the fabrication of products in both the aerospace and medical device domain. He brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the BEACON Board of Directors."
Mr. Francoeur founded Joining Technologies in 1992, with a vision of focusing on innovative laser welding, providing research and development, design assistance, production service and complete laser system solutions.
