ATLANTA - March 6, 2007 - Jacket Micro Devices (JMD), worldwide suppliers of the smallest, highest-performing RF modules available, today announced it has hired John McGuckin to serve as director of sales. McGuckin brings more than 13 years of technical management experience, including eight years focused in the wireless broadband communications and RF/microwave electronics component industry.

"JMD's products have been well-received in the market and we anticipate rapid, worldwide growth during 2007," said Chris Conlin, VP Sales and Marketing, JMD. "John's sales and management experience will be vital to our organization as we expand our sales operations to serve a global audience of wireless device designers and manufacturers."

As a regional sales manager at TriQuint, John managed customer service, contracts review and global distribution. McGuckin also spent more than 12 years in the U.S. Navy during which he held multiple assignments as a nuclear qualified officer in the submarine forces.

About Jacket Micro Devices (JMD)

Jacket Micro Devices (JMD) is a worldwide supplier of integrated RF modules for high performance wireless products. JMD's patented Multi-Layer organic (MLO) technology defines a revolutionary, system-on-package (SOP) approach to RF modules for wireless products and is ideal for wireless systems engineers who need to design compact wireless products. Unlike modules made with ceramic and other technologies, JMD's products can be rapidly customized and higher levels of integration, resulting in fewer external components and faster time to market. With JMD modules, manufacturers can push the boundaries of size and performance as they develop - and deliver - new, innovative wireless products.
