HOUSTON - February 16, 2007 -- International Paint LLC, a division of Akzo Nobel, the world's leading provider of high performance coatings, has hired Timothy Davis to serve as Senior Account Executive over the company's protective coatings sales throughout the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
Davis was recruited by International Paint to help direct the company's long-term efforts for developing brand awareness and growth of International's high-performance protective coatings sales in the industrial and commercial building markets throughout the region.

A coatings industry veteran of more than six years, Davis was previously employed at Ameron International for one year as a technical sales representative. He served another five years at Sherwin-Williams in their industrial sales division. Davis earned a degree in business administration from Cedarville University and is an active member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC). Davis lives with his wife Robin and their two daughters.
